Enjoy the childfriendly shallow sandybeach which you can reach in a few minutes. (Here, kind cows roam freely on the beach meadows during the summer for six months. Well-organized and well-visited bathing place is situated in Getskär, about 1.5 km north. Here you will find a sandy beach, cliffs and a jetty. Feel free to visit Svartedalen nature reserve with rich fishing waters, bathing lakes and hiking trails. You are also close to the golf course and Stenungs Torg's beautiful shopping center with about 60 shops and all other conceivable services. In summer, several events and activities are arranged here. Excellent location for excursions in the immediate area with many charming archipelago communities and sights on Tjörn and Orust. A few miles to the south also attracts Marstrand - the west coast's sailing metropolis with a bustling folk life, historic buildings and royal splendor. The nearest service point is Stora Höga 2 km. There is both a shop and some restaurants, but also good connections with both trains and Expressbuss to Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg, 41 km.
