    Dejligt familiedrevet hotel, meget høj kvalitet

    Her på dette lille familiedrevet hotel i Stresa var der mere end fuld valuta for pengene. Hotellet er meget billigt, men alligevel med meget høj grad af orden, service og renlighed. Samtidig fantastisk beliggenhed med meget flot udsigt fra stor balkon uden for vort store og velindrettede værelse.

    Alles war okay, einzig ein Zimmer war gegen die Strasse, und dieses war sehr lärmig bis 24.00 Uhr. Danach Ruhe

    Kleines Hotel mit zentraler Lage

    Das Hotel Flora hat einen in die Jahre gekommenen Charme. Die Ausstattung ist gepflegt und sauber, aber nicht mehr die modernste. Einige Zimmer haben einen traumhaften Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Doch auch in diesen Zimmern, ist die angrenzende Straße gut warzunehmen. Das Restaurant und auch das Frühstücks buffet waren recht gut. Das Personal dort freundlich und mehrsprachig. In ca 20 min. kommt man zu Fuß entlang der Uferprommenade in die Innenstadt von Stresa. Ein Parkplatz am Hotel ist vorhanden, allerdings etwas klein.

    Bra hotell som passade oss perfekt eftersom vi åkte ut med båtarna i hamnen och använde kabinbanan för vår cykeltrip i bergen. 15 min gångväg in till centrum var inga problem.

    A lovely hotel, highly recommended

    We stayed on a top floor room which had a lovely view of the lake, and also a second balcony overlooking the road. Others have mentioned the road noise; yes there is some noise but really we didn't find it disruptive. Have a look at the road on street view and you will see that although it is the 'main' lakeside road it isn't that busy by UK standards. Close the double glazed windows and you'll hardly hear it. We slept with them open with no problem. Obviously a lake view room is preferable, but the view up the mountain from roadside rooms is far from shabby. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely. It is very clean and well kept, the staff were all, without exception, friendly and helpful. The pool is just the right size to cool down, and the continental breakfast buffet was ample and very tasty. They were happy to arrange our transfer to Malpensa airport by bus for us (12 euros each) with a few days notice. They do ask for any additional costs (drinks, evening meals etc) to be paid for in cash rather than card at the end of your stay, but in fairness they do tell you this in the hotel information booklet. The location is a 20 / 30 minute enjoyable stroll along the lakeside into Stresa town. Overall we had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay here, it really is one of the nicest, friendliest hotels we've every stayed in, and have no hesitation in recommending it.

    Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Auswahl an Brötchen könnte größer sein. Das Abendessen haben wir in Restaurants in Stresa eingenommen.

    Hotel Flora à Stresa: Proche du lac

    Chambre propre & spacieuse avec balcon et vue sur les iles borromées. Petit déjeuner complet. Parking gratuit. Repas (en plus) bon mais un peu cher Réservation Hors saison (mars), donc très peu occupé ... mais voisin silencieux quand même, qu'on a entendu parler une fois.
