A quiet Edwardian house in the Cotswolds

Welcome to our family owned Edwardian era house situated in the historic town of Painswick. Situated just off the Cotswold Way national trail, it's the perfect pit-stop for keen walkers (or runners!). If sightseeing is more your thing, the famous 18th Century Rococo Garden is just a 5 minute walk.

Ideally located for easy travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester all within a 20 min drive.

Renovated with hospitality in mind to give guests the perfect balance of modern amenities with a homely feel. Features include;

We had a really lovely stay on this property. The house itself is fantastically well stocked, Sean really makes sure you have everything you need when first arriving (and more). All the rooms are really well done and welcoming, there was nothing to fault. The location is also great as it gives great access everywhere else without being way too busy like so many other places in the Cotswolds.We had an amazing stay and I'd definitely recommend the house, plus Sean as a host

The village is absolutely gorgeous and the house is extremely clean and well stocked. There are many lovely touches, like logs for the fire, bread, butter, yogurt, cereals etc! I would definitely recommend this place for a long or short visit!

We loved staying in Painswick and the cottage was perfect. It was a great location…a short walk into the village and easy access to all the public footpaths in the area. Our hosts were so kind. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. Hope we can come back again some day!

Spent a wonderful week staying in this house. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10

A wonderful stay in Painswick. The house was just as advertised, so clean and in a brilliant location. The house was stocked with everything you would need and even included some lovely extra touches on arrival such as fresh pastries and juices. We enjoyed our stay here. Sean greeted us and helped us get settled in. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Just a few minutes stroll into the picturesque town of Painswick with it's typical Cotswolds buildings (don't miss visiting St. Mary's Church and its 99 yew trees!). The house is also a very easy drive to other sights in the area, including the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral and the Roman museum in Cirencester. Very comfortable stay; it was also nice to have a washer/dryer combo to do some laundry. Thanks for a great stay, Sean!

The property, and the owner, Sean, were truly outstanding. The house is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Modern high-end appliances, even an electric car charger! This is a great spot for walking, as well as day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The village is very attractive with many choices for eating out and a quick walk from the house. A nice private patio for eating outside in the back.

Sean was a terrific host and the property was great. Only 2 of us in this 3BR home so we got to spread out. Wood fire was wonderful and wood provided. Lots of bits and bobs in the kitchen and we really appreciated being able to make breakfast each day. Convenient to town and the Rococo Gardens (5min walk to both) as well as the bus to Stroud. Lots of flyers provided and we chose a local walk from one of them. Highly recommend! We fell in love with Painswick and Sean made the experience even better.

The house was perfectly situated for our short stay on the edge of the Cotswolds, with gorgeous walks starting from the doorstep and within easy reach, by car, of other stunning villages and towns. The highlight of our holiday in England! The house was quiet, warm, and absolutely perfect in both atmosphere and location. The living room in particular was amazing, with its stylish decor, comfortable couches, and wood fire. The kitchen was generously stocked, with breakfast provisions kindly supplied. Very comfortable stay in a beautiful village. Plenty of things to do and see in the area, but with all the comfort and facilities at the house and garden , (with Netflix etc!) it does not matter, whatever the weather, it's a great location.
