"Holly was the perfect host: quick to response, very helpful with recommendations for dining, etc. The place is wonderful! Loved walking to the kayak launching area to sit on rocks and watch White Pelicans feeding in the morning! Peaceful and quiet location. A definite 10 out of 10!!!"

"This is an older property that was originally a lodge surrounded by a golf course. The golf property must have been sold off in the past, so the lodge remains. The front desk staff was personable and helpful. The room was HUGE. All the furnishings were vintage (and not in the good way). The bathroom was very dimly lit, but functional. The breakfast had make-to-order eggs and all of the other usual offerings. The AC was very quiet and the plumbing also quiet. They lock the lobby at night so late check-in might not be an options. If you are the type that likes everything contemporary, this is not the place for you. If you want a comfortable and very functional stay, consider this lodge. See Cave Point Park while you are there!"
