Hidden Treasure!!

This was one of the best rentals we have ever had! The location was very private. We rented 2 center-console boats that were easy to dock at the property. Both houses were very well stocked with extra kitchen items as well as everything you need to do your laundry. Truly a hidden treasure of Little Torch Key!

Frigate’s Nest

Frigate’s Nest was a great place to stay at while in the Keys. Separate houses made it nice to have families have their own space while still being steps away from each other. Houses were in great shape and clean with bathrooms for each room. Place was secluded and had dock on the gulf. We had a great time for mini season! Would definitely rebook and comeback!

We appreciate that the property was exactly as described. We had a large family vacation in the Keys. There was plenty of room, so no one felt as if they were over crowded.

Total nightmare SCAM!

So many things were absolutely unbelievable. It disgusts me that I paid the money I did to stay here. Every year I rent a Keys home for thanksgiving and I’ll tell you these people are charging 65% more money than this rental is worth! Dock has no electric or lights. Someone left food there. Air conditioning didn’t work. 90 degrees. Slept in our own sweat the first night. After repair guy came we got subpar air. Then hallway flooded with water from a/c drain. There is an infestation of ants in every bedroom, bathroom and common area of both houses. The ants attacked our groceries and any food on the kitchen island; a daily war with ants. They sent an exterminator but he said he could not do a full spray while we were there. Scum rings in the toilets. Cobwebs in ceilings and under the furniture legs. Pool heat didn’t work. No lights by the pool. So you can’t see to grill at night. Grill on top balcony was broken and DISGUSTING so we had to carry the “no light grill” up the stairs to the balcony that had lights to replace the broken “balcony grill”. 7 drawers in the master no place to hang your clothes. No vents in the bathrooms. Steam from shower is suffocating & makes all the walls drip. Toilet shoots water 3 foot in the air when you flush in the main house! Tiki hut rotted; broken. Steps to house rotted; our son stepped on a step and it broke in half! Trash cans outside full when we arrived. 7am lawn mowing on Fridays. DO NOT RECOMMEND
