Staff was nice and helpful, bartender was great. However they definitely don't like to heat their hallways/pool area! Very cold throughout the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated and could use some updates. But overall it was an ok stay for the price.

The front desk staff seemed as if I was bothering her. The room had sticky coffee stains on the nightstand and by the tv. The hair dryer had fallen off the wall, when I went to the front desk (because I didn’t want to be charged for damage) the same staff from check in had rudely chuckled “you won’t be charged”. The bedding was on sideways and the sheets were popping off the corners. It took the room over 4 hours to heat up with the heat turned to 90. The hotel hallways were freezing the entire time. There were no pool towels so walking the kids back to the room was very cold for them. There was no shampoo in the refillable containers in the shower. Just an all around unimpressive stay for the amount that was paid.

Facility was willing to accommodate and switch rooms for us due to a heating issue in the previous room. Was a great stay! Will stay again! The bar and restaurant attached was fantastic as well!

The first room was dirty with a shower that did not work. Moved to a new room and it was again dirty. Tried going to the "hot tub" just to find room temperature water and jets that barely worked. We checked out just mere hours after checking in and will never be back. Do not stay here.

I absolutely loved the hotel. Played pool, kids went swimming, sat in the hot tube, bathroom was good, king size bed fit 3 people comfortably, the view of Lake Superior was amazing!!! Parking was very convenient to where our room was. At night hotel was very peaceful. During the day, kids were all over, Animals allowed so we heard barking, during the day. I will be back for sure. With my kids and without. Staff was coo, did their job fast and professionally. Also got incidentals back fast after check out. Heater worked great because it got cold at night, got so hot at nighy towned the heat down and that worked great too. Opened window for a fresh air, and the sound of thw water was great. Sat at the lake during the day and night. Wavea was so relaxing! P.S. I was moving slow because I was so comfortable, so slow I wasn't gonna be out by 11am. Called to ask for an extra 30 minutes and front desk approved. I was so happy about that! Because I didn't even want to leave. Lol

Pros: Great room climate (heat), clean/comfy bedding, good shower head/temp, kind staff, great pool (higher temp than many— not painful), great hot tub. Cons: Our door did not consistently let us in. Not a key issue, a door issue. Some mold creeping down from above the ceiling tiles in the bathroom.
