The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly. Quaint little location. The price was affordable. Only issue we had was our keys kept being de-programmed and would not open the door. We had to go to front desk and get them reprogrammed twice for our room. However, that issue was minor and we will DEFINITELY stay again next time we are in the Superior area.

We stayed 2 nights for an event on the island so the location was perfect for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge, which was a nice bonus. We did have some issues with our room keys working properly and staff was very helpful in submitting the needed maintenance request. Staff throughout the place was consistently helpful and friendly. Hallway carpeting and some room furniture is older, and could use a refresh. The fitness center is very small with limited equipment, but the pool, sauna and hot tub were lovely after a busy day. The walleye dinner was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stayed and will probably stay here again next year. Can't beat the location!

The property was in a great location. Our room location looked out on the water, with boats and planes going by which we really liked 👍 The continental breakfast was so so. Our room itself was a problem. The room had not been cleaned. The bathroom was awful. Sheets were dirty. The clean staff finally filled the shower caddies and cleaned at the end of our two night stay. We will stay here again, but will take a hard look at the room first, before committing to it.

We loved the location by the lake and the common spaces were nice. The room we stayed in was dated and did not look like it had been cleaned in some time. There was still hair in the shower from the last guest, the bathroom was in need of cleaning and updating, and my child found a pocket knife under the bed. They also tacked on an extra $25.00 charge. Not impressed.

The room was not cleaned. I was there for two days and on the first day nothing was touched no towels were replaced. Nothing. I was told that your cleaning staff was very short, so I'm sorry for that. The table in the lobby in front of the couch on the bottom shelf was so full of dust I don't think it's ever been cleaned. I told the front desk person about it, nothing happened. The front desk people were excellent. The restaurant however was another story. We were there on Wednesday night. There was a cornhole tournament going on. And the restaurant was way understaffed. The salad bar was pretty much empty except for some lettuce. And when I spoke to the manager about it she implied that she had already replenished things. No eggs no blue cheese lot of other things missing. That is not considered replenished. The server was very kind with us but the manager was not. It was as if we were making her go out of her way to do her job.

We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area.
