Disgustingly overpriced for this disgraceful state of house and furniture
Stained furniture. No bedside lamps. No locks on toilets. No key to front door (only access to house). Locksmith no show for our 6 day stay.Kitchen:
There are 2 bar stools at the kitchen bench which are terribly stained.
There is a nest of 3 little tables which are all terribly stained.
The kettle has no handle on the lid so is very dangerous when hot.
The dishwashing bottom drawer handle is broken and comes off the rails when pulled out.
The oven gloves are disgusting and need to be thrown out.
Bedrooms:
The bedside lamps in the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms do not work (are not connected). The upstairs lamps have European plugs.
The beds are very difficult to make up. Difficult to lift the heavy mattress to apply a fitted sheet.
The Doona covers did not appear to be washed and clean. Lucky we brought our own.
All the blinds in the bedrooms are dirty and the strings used to pull them up and down are all not in a good state.
The blinds in one bedroom downstairs unable to be rolled up and stay up.
Bathrooms:
Both toilet brushes need to be replaced. They both only have half a handle.
The bottom bathroom/toilet has no lock on it.
The bathroom hand towels and bath mats are very old and don’t match.
Living area:
The furniture is old and most of the zippers on the couches are broken.
The blinds are dirty and the strings to pull them up and down all need to be replaced.
One of the window winders in the living area is very loose and needs to be fixed.
The good things were:
Good views of the ocean.
Bathrooms were good.
The house was clean. Many of these things have been noted by others before, but nothing done about them. I requested a refund due to the property not being a true reflection of the advertising.
