"This property significantly overpromises and underdelivers. The listing advertises complimentary toiletries, a fully stocked kitchen, and functioning amenities like a fireplace and hot tub. In reality: zero toiletries, two trash bags, one dishwasher pod, and nothing to wash dishes with—no sponge or dishcloth. That is not a “fully stocked” kitchen. The fireplace does not work. The hot tub is barely warm. The water is so heavily mineralized it appears brown and is undrinkable—we had to buy bottled...

Top Swannanoa Hotel Reviews

Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The property is beautifully maintained, very clean and convenient to downtown Asheville. The staff was very accommodating and the restaurant’s food was very good. I’d highly recommend it to travelers."

Aloft by Marriott Asheville Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"We were only there for one night but we want to come back for a weekend. Asheville was such a neat little town and I wish we could have explored more. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. We didn’t get a chance to check out the restaurant or bar, but next time we will."

Four Points by Sheraton Asheville Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was very helpful. They assured me that there was a gas station near the airport for when I return the car. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was very walkable. The breakfast Monday through Friday was great Saturday and Sunday. They had one of those heat breakfast things and it was OK, but I love the personalized breakfast during the week when it wasn’t as crowded."

The Lodge at Flat Rock

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is amazing. Beautiful building. Flawlessly well run by the incredible staff. I was blown away. They care a lot about running a great hotel and it shows. While other hotels are understaffed and let their hotel fall into disrepair, the lodge is a true model for how great hotels should be run. We loved our stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly."

AC Hotel Asheville Downtown

8/10 Good

"Great location which was close to all the restaurants and seeing all the spots downtown. We didn’t eat here because we wanted to experience local foods. We did have drinks on the rooftop bar which had a great view. Parking was easy for $25 a day which is a great price. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Our room didn’t face the street so it was quiet but the only thing was that we would have preferred a non handicapped room. It felt a little cold. I highly recommend this hotel!"
