We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay here. The cottage was incredibly clean and so well looked after. The pool was excellent and so easy to heat up. Judith was so lovely. The photos really do not do this place justice, it was immaculate and we will definitely be back!!

Second visit, just as good as the first!

This is our favourite stayz, very well equipped, beautiful surroundings, super clean and tidy and very private.We had fun playing badminton and made our own pizzas this time. The pool/spa is great and there's so much to do here.Can't wait to visit again!

What a find, The Old Shack is only an hour from Sydney. It’s secluded, so private & buried in nature. Just superb. Mark & Judith are amazing hosts, the shack is fully equipped, the hot tub fueled by wood fire is wonderful & the river offers time for paddling. Amazing, you have to try The Old Shack out for yourself!

The Old Shack was bliss

We have stayed at Marks and Judith’s wonderful shack many times but this was the first time for some years - and as always it was a super relaxing opportunity to unwind and disconnect - the property is just beautiful as is the bush setting. We loved chilling in the hot tub, cooking in the wood fire oven and taking out the canoe for a paddle in the river - out only regret was not booking a longer stay as 2 nights flew by. Thanks for being great hosts and sharing your beautiful shack with us

This was the most wonderful getaway. The ‘shack’ is so beautifully built with wonderful thought furnishings. The owners have created something truly special for others to enjoy. The amount of craftsmanship and attention to detail in the shack was breathtaking. My partner and I spent 3 nights here and loved every second. Plenty of things to do like canoeing on the river, bush walks, badminton, but my favourite activity was to watch the birds. The shack had the most stunning view with so much bird life right outside. So nice to switch off from the rest of the world and to relax

Such a beautiful experience, it was so amazing being able to wake up in the morning making myself and my husband a coffee and going outside to watch the sunrise and listen to all the beautiful birds and other woodland creatures waking up and singing their beautiful songs. Definitely will be visiting again!
