No microwave but staff did offer to heat or reheat anything at reception, who would do that to them? A terrible, loud sound of a fan with or without the air conditioning system on all night. There’s no way of controlling the air conditioning fan speed. No lunch. I will find somewhere else next time.

On first impression, the hotel wasn’t too bad, but…night one we wanted room service but were told there wasn’t anyone to bring it too our room. Even us asking to collect and take it to our room ourselves resulted in head scratching. We also asked where the guest laundry was and were directed to the second floor. On arrival at the laundry we were greeted with an “out of service” sign on the door, which remained for the four days we were there. The fold out child’s bed was made up with bedsheets that appeared used (clean hotel sheets are flat, not crumpled). There was a noise for the entirety of the stay that sounded like masonry drilling into concrete - 24 hrs a day. Coffee/sugar not replenished each day. Cold shower water on the first night. Other than that it was good. The staff were friendly, so that was a positive. The price was cheap for Sydney, I guess you get what you pay for, even out in the suburbs.

I am sorry to hear there was some confusion about taking food to your room, we unfortunately had room service closed during your stay - but the team was able to allow self collection. Our laundry machine unfortunately was broken by a guest, a replacement did not arrive during your stay i do apologize. I assure you all our sheets are cleaned, i do apologize there were some creases. We will need to investigate the noise issue, there is no construction going on nor 24hrs a day. We are deeply sorry for the hot water issues that occurred, our external contractor has rectified this Kind Regards,

It was awful. The tv didn’t work, they charged us an extra $50 to have a roll out bed put in the room for our daughter after we booked for 3, and $25 on top for parking. Outside and not secured. Do NOT stay here - very expensive and not worth it

I am disappointed with the decay of this hotel since 2016. Dirty walls, furniture and room patios & patio furniture. No minibar - you have to call in for minibar options. This tells me that the Chinese tour groups, I have seen there are causing issues that all have to suffer from. The breakfast is missing many items that were there in 2016. In general, I get the idea that the owners don't want to spend on keeping the hotel in good condition as there are MANY maintenance issues. This is sad as I can see that the staff is doing their best with what they have. We had to change rooms as the first room had a bed so low that only an Asian could get on it. The carpet had various messes on it caused by people spilling drinks on it. The room was only artificially clean. Dirty skirtings etc. In general, I noticed that furniture throughout the hotel isn't wiped down and cleaned.

We continue to work tirelessly to continue our hotels standards and updated offerings. Our minibar is still available, via request. Our tour groups, from many different countries, all stay with out issues or troubles, not sure what you mean by 'suffering' from the issues they cause. Our beds are Rydges Dream beds, that are standard across our hotel. We will be sure to have our engineering and housekeeping team attend the room to ensure everything is in top not condition, i apologize again for the issuesKind Regards,

Easy to find and park. Nice entrance, pleasant greeting. Slightly run-down corridors, lifeless room. So basically the deeper you go in, the less pleasant it gets. We got a significant discount price from Wotif which made it fair value, but at the normal price I would have been very disappointed.

Needs huge refurbishment. One lift broken, the other old and not far from breaking down. Food at restaurant took an hour to come and then was horrible. Definitely not value for what we paid. Certainly not up the Rydges normal standard. Very disappointing.
