Relax in this nicely furnished cedar chalet and enjoy the sounds of the woods. Enjoy the spacious feeling from the high ceilings and cozy up to the rock fireplace. Outdoor decking overlooks hardwood and pine woods. Log furnishings in the Master bedroom add to the mountain chalet atmosphere. Unwind in the hot tub in the attached screened-in porch, allowing it to be used year-round. Outdoor picnic area overlooks the beautiful mountain views.

The home is only minutes from Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cherokee. This prime location offers close proximity to hiking, trout fishing, rafting, antique shops, Smokey Mt. Railroad, and horseback riding. Home is located in a peaceful mountain setting and is near the Tuckaseege River. This home offers all of the features needed for a quiet retreat in the mountains while providing convenient access to area attractions, stores, and dining.

Family Fun

Easy to find, good location, overall cleanliness of property good. Nice living room and kitchen area. The dryer didn’t dry as fast as we wanted. The hot tub was enjoyable and the view scenic but it lost heat during use and fit the three of us well. The road to the driveway was steep and curvy. A challenge for us not from the mountains. Definitely only room for two cars in the driveway.

Lovely cabin with many amenities. Location of the property up a steep incline was a little scary and no address marker so went to wrong place but once inside it was pleasant and as advertised. Close to national park which was a necessity

Broken hot tub

Rented this cabin for the weekend because it stated it had a hot tub.... That I've been broken weeks before we got there so it was completely unusable. We froze the first night because the heat did not work and the gas logs would not come on

Very disappointing stay

We had planned on a fun mountains trip with a hot tub and a view. At least it had a view. Otherwise it was a fail. There was loads of uncollected trash outside. The hot tub hadn’t been maintained. The 2nd floor was 15 degrees hotter than the first floor. The pics of the house are not current. The new furniture is worse across the board. Vacasa is quick to respond and Shannon was very helpful. We ended up leaving a day early. One positive note - it is very easy to get to Dillsboro, Sylvia, and surrounding areas.

Stay away!

We never even made it inside this house located up one of the most treacherous roads most folks can imagine. I drive a truck and we were never even able to make it in to the driveway. After almost going over a cliff to get back down, I called the property manager and was told that because of strict North Carolina laws, they wouldn’t consider a refund or credit towards a future stay. I called VRBO and they put me right back in touch with the property manager and according to their staff and many reviews, this is a regular occurrence with this property. I asked if the owner was notified and was told no so I’m going to call him tomorrow in Ft. Lauderdale to discuss the situation. I have rented from VRBO since the app was invented , several trips a year but this will be the last one if we can’t come to a settlement. We had young drivers joining us for a graduation weekend and for their safety I had to find another, more expensive house at the last minute. So I had 2 VRBO rentals over the last 4 days. Very disappointed with VRBO and especially the property manager, VACASA. If I have to spend more on an attorney than the cost of the rental I’m willing to do it because of the series of events. Completely took away from what was supposed to be a family celebration weekend.
