「I arrived pretty late Friday night. They had me booked into an upstairs room. I expressed a preference for downstairs, and the managers accommodated me. They told me how to adjust the heat in the room, and the room, which they had not expected to rent, warmed up pretty quickly. 「The motel was clean and the beds were SUPER comfortable! The woman who checked us in (I was in Athens with my 16 yr old daughter visiting a friend) was very friendly! The door to the room only had a doorknob lock and it wasn't super sturdy. The chain lock was broken. And the door had a decent-sized gap between it and the door frame in some places. 「This place was one of the best places we ever stayed at. So quiet and the wildlife was amazing. Birds of all kinds, deer, turkey, bullfrogs and turtles also. The lake was fun and the hiking trails were just enough for a bit of exercise. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the property. Hated to leave. Roger and Mary joined us around the campfire as my friend played acoustic guitar. Great owners!! Only suggestion we had was maybe some hooks on the wall in the main bedroom to hang some clothes.」
