• Collect all trash and dispose of it in the bear-proof bin or dumpster outside Do NOT leave the key in bear-proof bin door Let us know if the bear-proof bin is too full to put all your trash inside
• Turn thermostat down to 55 (do not turn off!) • Turn lights off, secure and lock all doors and windows • Turn on electric Bear Fencing (if applicable) • Return keys to HRG Lockbox.

Wonderful stay!

Our group of 4 cousins had a wonderful stay here. The cabin is easy to find, surrounded by a beautiful forest and only a short 15min drive to palisades. Inside is very cute and cozy, and a perfect get away to relax in. Bedrooms get a little cold since the heater is in the living room, but we just left the bedroom doors open while we slept and it was fine. Would definitely go back again!

House was great! Comfortable and location was perfect. Close to several very good food spots and close to downtown Tahoe City. Also an easy drive to Palisades ski resort.

Girls Weekend

Great place to stay. Great location, walkable to Sunnyside. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with walking paths. WiFi worked fine, place was clean and instructions were clear. Would stay again!

Cozy cabin

Charming cozy cabin in quiet neighborhood. Great to bring bikes and enjoy the scenery and smells of Lake Tahoe. Fun to be close to Sunnyside and little market for cookies and sweets. Great location.

We had a relaxing visit to our favorite place....West Shore!

We hiked, swam, tried the very shallow Truckee, but road bikes instead and read lots of good books. It was a perfect size cabin for my husband and I, and close to the market and a swimming beach. LOVE TAHOE!

DELIGHTFUL COTTAGE

Wonderful cozy cabin, great neighborhood. Lovely kitchen with table, well stocked & loved the dishwasher! Super comfy sofas & TV, my granddaughter couldn't stop watching "Lassie"! Comfortable beds, very homey decor. Easy drive to downtown & close to many restaurants. We will definitely stay again!

Plesum's cabin

It was cute and comfortable. The bedrooms were as described. The kitchen was up to date and clean. We enjoyed the gas fireplace. We would stay there again.

Had a wonderful time, it was super peaceful and cozy. I never encountered a Bear Fence before so that was a bit of a learning experience. Was close to the lake and little town area and a quick drive to Tahoe City. Beds were very comfortable and Kitchen had all the essentials.

Another Great Stay

This was the second time my kids and I have come up to Plesums for Thanksgiving. The place is small enough to be cozy and give us a good sense of togetherness, but had everything we needed to cook up a full thanksgiving dinner! The location is perfect - you can walk to Sunnyside, Firesign, and the West Shore Market, but it's far enough away from the main road to be nice and quiet. We love Plesums!

Nice and cozy, very effective for a ski vacation. Keep the heater on strong overnight as there is no heating in the bedrooms.

So many positives! Great location, cute rustic cabin, quiet neighborhood… They could step it up to excellent by fixing a few things and replacing the towels and sheets. The master sheets came off the bed each night:/

It was on a quiet street a couple of miles from the main drag in Tahoe City. Close enough to get to the ski hill quickly but a little removed from some of the traffic and congestion. Property was clean and well maintained. It was a little rustic, and we couldn't use the gas fireplace, but that was because they had too much snow and the chimney wasn't clear.

Good cabin vibe

The wood materials, as a builder, are very rustic. We liked that the place felt like visiting a family cabin, where simplicity and good quality come together. So many rentals have become like motels these days with fixtures that don't match the style of the area. Not this one. Don't change a thing. Thanks to the owners for the good times.

Classic Tahoe Home

Very nice property over all and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a Tahoe getaway. The internet was spotty and cobwebs covered the ceiling. The management company was a little unprofessional as they never responded to my requests after I spoke with them but that is not a reflection of the home overall. If you are looking for a classic Tahoe experience I will highly recommend this location.
