一抵達非常熱情招呼，露天溫泉非常舒服，大概是因為今天住客很少所以都包場了，但吹風機風俗很小，長頭髮的人不建議洗頭，貸切風呂有點驚嚇，池子過小外，池內有水管露出水面（正中央），或是會泡著鐵鏈，讓人泡湯慾望降到最低點，大眾池其實就非常棒了，晚餐好吃，可愛的員工熱情招呼還慢慢的教我說日文，真的有像去朋友家作客的感覺，整體來說，是間非常溫暖的溫泉旅宿，設備如同其他人所說就是有年代的痕跡外，其他真的無法挑剔，很棒

The dinner meal was the main highlight of our stay: there was sukiyaki, the best miso soup (perfect balance of sweet and salty) with mushrooms, sashimi, tempura with local veggies, chawanmushi etc. I’d argue that this meal was better than some highly rated restaurants in Takayama. The staff were extremely nice and hospitality was great, some knew a bit of English. We enjoyed the public baths.

We had a wonderful night here. Delicious kaiseki dinner and a very tasty breakfast the next day. Being able to access private, open air onsens without paying extra was also a treat. The staff could not have been more lovely and helpful, including organising an emergency dental appointment for one of my group. Like most ryokans, the building is a bit tired and old, and the pillows were not so comfortable, but this was more than made up for with the staff, food and onsens. Will happily stay here again.

Amazing spot. The ryokan is run by a very kind family. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the mountain views from there were impressive. Also, the dinner was unforgettable and delicious. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the beautiful area.

We enjoyed our stay in Ryokan Sansui. The view from our room is breath taking and the private bath is so relaxing. I also tried their public onsen and it was complete with amenities. Both me and my partner felt so pampered. The dinner and breakfast provided are delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The onsen was a highlight of our stay—peaceful, clean, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, and the overall ambiance was calm and serene. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Ryokan Sansui! Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war ein Highlight - klassisch japanisch mit vielen kleinen Gerichten in einem privaten Raum. Auch die Onsen waren super und da wenig Gäste da waren, haben wir immer direkt eine privates Onsen bekommen. Wir können das Hotel zu 100 Prozent empfehlen und auch wenn es ein bisschen abgelegen ist (der Bus zur nächsten Bushaltestelle fährt alle 2 Stunden und mit der 15 Minuten entfernten Bushaltestelle ist es insgesamt einmal pro Stunde), lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall herzukommen! In dem kleinen Dorf gibt es nur sehr wenige Läden, aber wer wegen Ruhe und Entspannung hier ist kommt voll auf seine Kosten.

Interesting stay

The hosts are very kind and considerate and we had a nice stay in a traditional Japanese style room with very authentic Japanese meals for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is perhaps a little dated but it added to the charm and it is very clean. We didn’t get to try the outdoor onsen as we had hoped as we were put off but a large spider other guests alerted us to. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.
