"Tatami mat full of stain, dust on table, coffee machine area and on lamp at sink area. Big spider web at the outdoor near open air bath. Half shelter only at open air bath and shower area, it was raining when we check in that day. Unable to shower or use onsen. Pillar in room are worn off and those outside are rusty. Washing machine have lot of fibre left on the rim, no maintenance. Breakfast and dinner served not authentic Japanese style and food quality were bad. Disappointing and regretted tgat we paid $500 plus for such room. "

"The property location and views from the hotel rooms are fabulous. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful, even to English-speaking travellers. The building is a bit dated but still very nice. We enjoyed the experience of the set dinners even if we weren't adventurous enough to try every course. Our kids loved sleeping on futons, running around the playground by the beach, and going to the onsens. It's easy to take the public bus around the area and IC cards are now accepted for fare payment, contrary to info on the bus website. "

"Location : around 10 min walk from the JR station to the pier where the hotel provides free shuttle bus/ ferry pick up service. Room: nice size and view. Rather old style But i consider it reasonable as it is an old hotel. Onsen : I love the cave onsen. Very rare. This is the most beautiful features at the hotel. Meals: buffet style. I always prefer kaiseki style. But it is a big hotel with a lot of guests. Buffer style is easy to manage . Staff: nice and helpful Recommended for good value for money "

"Simply beautiful. The onsen was so wonderful and the community onsen was even better. The staff were absolute professionals and went above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were as we expected. I really liked their tempura but i loved the sashimi. My partner loved the beer dispenser:) We feel a got the best deal!"
