Place is great. If you’re looking for a convenient spot to walk around the city then this is your place. Breakfast was good but good use cards to know what the food is! Other than that, staff was great and hotel is gorgeous. Felt “authentic”. I would note outside the hotel is very bustling and in the center of everything.

I have stayed here many times and have been very happy.This time, I arrived minutes after the usual check-in time and my room was not ready. I was brought to the dining area, where I was promised welcome tea. After twenty minutes, my tea did not arrive, so I went to the desk and the receptionist told me my room was ready. I asked about my tea, and there was no response. This is a nice hotel and usually the staff is better. At exactly 12:00 noon my phone was ringing to remind me that my stay was over, but where was the initial care of my check-in? I also would avoid room number 2 as it is noisy and has a tiny shower.

4 lovely nights in the Sultan Suite which i highly recommend for size beauty and view to busseling medina with shutters that open. You will not like if noise bothers you...but you can slide heavy glass doors rhat also add sound proofing The place is a palace in fact the 1st bank in the medina very historical Decor is authentic.. if you want to feel like you are in Morocco this is it. Staff was happy accomodating and always eager to please. I wiah i used spa...the restarants have great food Nice breakfast display out every morning. Smells fresh and the daily housekeeping is unheard of it seems in todays hotel stays. Great safe and fast airport transfers. Loved the welcoming moroccan mint tea upon arrival The amenties in room are nice...robes slipppers tooth kita combs all branded.. only thing i will say needs upgrades are beds they are hard.. no give Stay here in Tangier if youbwant an authentic safe cozy and warming stay

Même si notre séjour dans cet établissement était de courte durée, soient deux nuitées, nous avons particulièrement adoré l'emplacement et aussi les lieux intérieurs du Palais Zahia. La chambre était confortable avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Le WiFi ne permettait pas de se "loguer" lorsque la porte érait fermée. Donc, pour remédier à cette situation, laissant une fenêtre béante, permettait une meilleure capacité de chargement. Le déjeuner, de type continental, était présenté avec une grande variété de produits frais, locaux et selon tous les goûts. Very authentic beautiful space. Nice onsite restaurant and rooftop bar to start your Tangier experience. Room with street balcony was worth it—good local sounds from streets. Bed was nice and comfy. Only downside is the bathroom- a bit dated but overall clean. Nicer newer towels would really improve the experience:) Love the local location!! It was great walking thru the rustle and bustle of the market then wandering into the small peaceful neighborhoods.

Very special place in Tangier

This place is just amazing. We spent only one night and we couldn't been happier. The ambience, decor is just magical and the buffet breakfast delicious and plenty to choose from. Location perfect, close to the ferry and right in medina w all the shops and restaurants. Staff very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and hope to be back as well.

The Palais Zahia is by far the coolest hotel that I have ever stayed at. The hotel staff was amazing and very courteous. The daily breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of things to eat. The multiple rooftop terraces were each amazing and unique. my favorite was the highest terrorist with the view to the bay. I could sit there all day and watch the ships come and go from the bay. It looked like an Arabian Palace inside and it was nicely appointed and decorated. Every single surface inside the hotel from the first floor all the way to the roof is either hand-painted or hand carved or both. Multiple fantastic artworks and colorful and unique vases decorate the space as well. The chandelier was absolutely beautiful. The level of detail extends inside the rooms as well and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also nicely appointed. Every single tile in the hotel from the first floor to the rooftop to the bathroom to the hallway bathroom to anything you can think of were real high quality tile. It had a nice and smooth texture to the tile that I can't describe and they shine to them that was always beautiful in every kind of light. Even hallway bathrooms were nicely appointed. There's not enough words I can say to describe how beautiful this place is. I wouldn't even consider going to any other place in Tangier except this hotel. It's location in the Medina was also very convenient for shopping and dining and for the ambiance. I'm 100% satisfied!!!
