「We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again」

「Very well equipped and tastefully decorated cottage with amazing views over the reservoir and Holme valley. Local walks and places to eat are convenient. Only one thing wasn’t quite perfect. The key safe is near the ground and hard to access for those of us who aren’t as mobile as we used to be. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay.」

「Lovely cottage. The wood burning stove was much appreciated by all including our black Labrador! The central heating was very efficient once we’d found the boiler controls (in one of the twin rooms) Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but wasn’t at all intrusive. Beds very comfortable ! Can recommend the Scotsman’s Pack inn who (with some advance notice) catered for 42 of us for the Birthday meal !」

「Great location on a working farm very friendly, nice and clean with a view of the hill sides , we stayed in Daisy cottage it was all on one level with a disabled access shower which was great , near by walks taking in the beauty of the peak district national park, local pubs for great food, we would definitely return .」

「The cottage is lovely. There is everything you need there. The 1st floor rooms are lovely. There is a twin downstairs. Lovely powerfull shower. Tv was a pain to get to work. 「Hotel was gorgeous, clean, smelled amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had trouble with our bathroom sink tap and it was fixed super quickly. Only complaint is that drinks were a little expensive, £5 for a coffee is a lot and the alcohol more so, but it's expected for such a lovely venue I suppose. Thanks for a great weekend!」
