And, you’re 10 minutes drive from Skenes creek beach, and the other pristine beach’s nearby. The beautiful little coastal village of Apollo Bay is only 5 minutes further, where you’ll find cafes, clothes and gift shops, bars and restaurants.
Why not start your day at the cabin, wake up to breakfast, maybe a wander around one of the walking tracks. Then down to the beach, followed by late lunch or perhaps dinner. Then back to the cabin for a fire and wind down for the day as the forest birds do the same.
Some local attractions include Lake Elizabeth, Stephensons falls, the forest walks at Marengo and the Giant Redwood plantation nearby, also the treetop walk and the little town of Forrest where you could visit the Forrest Brewery for a coffee and cake or a meal to taste the local flavours.
