"Nice place, slightly dated but nothing to prevent an enjoyable stay. Car parks were spacious and easy to get in and out of. Pool looked good. A brand new trampoline was being put up when i was there. The guy managing the place was friendly and approachable."

"Good place, quite central. Would stay there again. Although some younger guests were quite noisy late at night. The hotel management should just put a sign in the hallways for all guests to be aware and respectful towards other guests after a certain time in the night."

"Friendly staff. It was an older, single glazed studio room. Clean and fresh, plenty of space, clean linen daily with a bed change midway of our stay. The shower floor was tiled with no slipping, ideal for older people. There was no clock in living area. Only a microwave and 2 hobs in kitchen, no oven for heating. Kitchen had all the necessary pans, bowls, dinnerware and cutlery. Good parking. Unfortunately motel situated on one of the busiest intersections in New Plymouth so there was continual traffic noise, all day and most of the night!!"
