「Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. 「The heater was rather noisy. Also, we had to clean the bathroom floor when we arrived as it did not appear to have been swept. In addition we had to clean the stove as it looked like somebody cooked tomato soup and ran it over and the front of the stove had dry soup all over it. 「This is the second year my group has rented this property. Great price for the number of beds. Love the large activity room. Our only (minor) issue last year was that the grill was out of propane, so we had to do burgers on the skillet. Happy to report the grill was ready to go this year, and they even had a spare tank! We will likely be back next year too!」

「The cabin is perfect in it’s location. It faces a pond and the host has placed two bird feeders in front of the cabin. It was great fun to watch the variations of birds( we counted 11) we watched the deer come to the pond in the morning and at dusk. We watched the fox run across the yard.
