Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback. As explained, we had a guest interested in the apartment (after it was cleaned) and the family had a walk through. I believe that the little boy of about 5 years slipped in and used the toilet. We have very high cleaning standards and check-lists in place. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Ajit,We are sorry you did not enjoy your complimentary upgrade to the Penthouse.As all of our apartments are privately owned, owners have the right to withdraw from the letting pool, at any time.This is what happened with your booking and we did not have another 3-bedroom lakeview to provide you, hence the significant room upgrade.We believe, our relieving manager did offer you a rollaway bed for one of your children which was not accepted.We apologise for your 10 and 12-year-old sleeping in the same room. The beds were split for your children to accommodate the situation as we were otherwise fully booked.Regards,Sacred Waters

Vanessa,Thank you for your feedback.To put your comments into perspective for you. We have had extremely strong winds and outdoor furniture does move along with wind noise. That is unavoidable due to the strength of the wind. Sacred Waters is a very solid building so I can only imagine how other places performed in the very strong winds. The day you needed toilet paper and towels you had a "do not disturb sign" on your door. As our housekeepers only work to 2 pm your room was therefore not serviced. To come to reception was then the correct thing to do so we could replenish you after this time! The AC has been recently serviced and is working just fine so unsure what the issue was here as you did not mention to us when staying. The lights that were flickering as you had them on the lowest part of the dimmer so when we tested these and turned them up, they were fine, perhaps something to do with the wind as well Vanessa? Yes, you wanted to stay on which was great so we moved you to the 2 bedroom penthouse. The rollaway was installed for you and was perfectly fine. Perhaps someone tried to adjust this and put a setting out? Rest assured, the rollaway are in perfect working condition and are relatively new. The car parks you had were the two easiest car parks to access in our underground garage. The car park was built in 2006 and whereas the carpark can be tight for the larger vehicles that are around today, your carparks you had were the 2 easiest to access. We only have so much room for carparks like most places and cannot alter the design of these! We are pleased you enjoyed our friendly staff, Vanessa.All the best to you.Sacred Waters, Taupo

Thank you for your feedback Andrea. It is very warm in summer in Taupo so yes, opening the windows or closing the windows and turning the a/c is the trick!! The garage door remote for your apartment was working just fine. We suspect you got too close to the garage door when pressing this, as explained to you when we spoke with you about this! It was great another guest was waiting behind you and opened the door with their remote! All the best for the rest of 2023.
