This building leans up to tropical woodlands, called hammocks while providing an Ocean view. Birders will get a front row seat of the Osprey Nest and the visiting monk parakeets and woodpeckers, just to name a few.



The Space:

*Please note that the roof will be replaced starting June 18th with an approx. completion date of July 24th. Work will be done Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. The parking in front of the building will be restricted. Furthermore, the elevator in this building will be out of service from approx. September 9th -October 14th, 2026 for repairs. This condo (#1302) is located 2 flights up (34 steps).*



This two bedroom/two bathroom condo has been recently completely renovated with custom designer decor, updated kitchen, comfy mattress, recliner sofa.



The balcony offers a view of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the nature preserve, Florida Keys "hammocks".



The Master bedroom features a King size bed and ensuite master bathroom with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom features a Queen bed with an unattached bathroom with a bathtub.



Guests will also enjoy the convenience of an in-unit washer/dryer.

Guest Access:

You will have full access to Ocean Pointe Suites resort & property. The security gate is manned 24 hours. The person who made the reservation, will need to present their ID upon arrival.



Please be aware that from September 9-October 14, we are replacing our elevator and elevator service may not be available. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Getting Around:

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.

Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house.



GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR

We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:



KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.



The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.



CAR PARKING

Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.



Other Things to Note:

For enhanced hygiene and guest comfort, all linens and towels are professionally laundered off-site by a commercial laundry service. This process ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and quality for every stay.



We pride ourselves on our mangrove and nature conservancy area. We are home to many native species, ospreys and other birds, and a feral cat colony, all protected in the Keys. The feral cats and wildlife do not interact with guests, spending most of their time in the mangroves or sunning themselves at the edge of the conservancy. We ask your help in maintaining the health of our wildlife by NOT feeding them unnatural food sources. Feeding is strictly prohibited and fineable



Marina slip and/or trailer reservations have to be made prior to arriving with the Dockmaster. RV's and jet skis are not allowed.
