Tiny hotel instead of bouquet hotel

It promoted itself as a boutique hotel, but it turned out to be a small hotel with tiny rooms and no facilities. Staff were helpful and nice. It is closed to camel market. As a whole, it was not worth as present price.

When we book from Hotels.com, the breakfast offer was included. However, when we check in, the staff said the system did not show this offer. I suggest Hotels.com to communicate with the Hotel what is included to avoid any miscommunications with the guests. We have to wait until 8:00am next morning and get the breakfast coupon. The time consumed to communicate with Hotels.com and staff is over 1 hour and we have to make long distance call with Hotels.com to resolve. This is not we expect from Hotels.com self service booking model as what we have booked online already indicate which hotel include breakfast, which do not.

Top Lage

Die Lage und die Sonnenterrasse ist absolut top. Wer keine großen Ansprüche stellt und fußläufig Strand, den um die Ecke gelegenen Carmel Market erreichen will und mitten im Leben von Tel Aviv sein will, ist hier richtig. Das Bad bräuchte allerdings dringend eine Renovierung. Aber für zwei Nächte absolut ok.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel: Alles, was man braucht und ohne Schnickschnack. Zimmer teilweise mit kleinem Balkon. Tolle Dachterrasse. Hilfsbereite Ansprechpartner. Lage in einer schönen, lebendigen und lustigen Gegend, Carmel Markt einen Katzensprung entfernt. Frühstückscafés, Kneipen und Restaurants ebenso: Deswegen nicht wirklich ruhig. Muss es aber auch nicht sein, bei allem was in nächster Nähe geboten ist. Passt perfekt für eine Entdeckungsreise außerhalb von Luftschlössern.

Runner's choice

My only hesitancy in recommending this hotel is, I don't want to increase competition for a spot the next time I want to book it myself! For the price, I was quite pleased. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and I was pleasantly shocked at how QUIET the room was for the city center. I actually got a good night's sleep! I also felt uncommonly safe as a solo female traveler. I could not put my finger on why, but it just "felt" home-y. The room was small, and the shower worked for me as a petite person, but would be tricky for a large person. Scale met my expectations for the price, though. Very clean. The location is excellent--3 minute run to the beach, and the Tel Aviv waterfront is a runner's paradise (if you can hack the heat). Walk to Jaffa, museums. I really enjoyed the cheerful rooftop deck--just right for morning yoga, or for unwinding in the evening. The small (and very traditionally Middle Eastern) gesture of having water available at the entry hit me as being meaningful after I ceased to have it at my next-stop hotel; now I miss it! Front desk staff was MOSTLY super helpful and friendly. Some of the early morning folks could use some sweetening, but hey I wouldn't want to work night shift either. Tip: try to get a quote from the hotel on a taxi price before you leave the airport. Though this is no reflection on the hotel, my *%$#@ cabbie charged me DOUBLE! You can also take the train + bus if you have energy after a long flight. Bus stop is ~2-min walk.

部屋は狭めであるが絨毯敷きで悪くない。とにかく立地が良い。テルアビブの最も繁華なエリアの中心にあり、それでいて路地裏に立地しているため静か。ホテル代の高いイスラエルでなかなか良い選択肢ではないか。

DIe Unterkunft ist in der Mitte der Stadt mit vielen Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Man benötigt keinen Transport. Die Rezeption ist 24/7 besetzt. Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Alles top und ich komme hoffentlich wieder!
