BEWARE of this host. Arrived on June 12 and were unable to check in because there was no water. The host sent us to another apartment a mile away, which was extremely hot because the air conditioning was off. We returned to the original apartment after being told the water issue was resolved. When leaving the temporary apartment, three unknown men were waiting outside for the apartment. No one had informed me they would be arriving. When I hesitated to hand over the keys without confirmation from the host, they threatened me. I gave them the keys and left. On June 17, I realized I needed one additional night. The host agreed and sent me a payment link for 800 shekels, which I paid. Three hours later, he demanded that I leave immediately because another guest was arriving. Despite accepting my payment, he threatened to call the police and throw my luggage into the street. I was forced to move to a third apartment. The host claimed he refunded the 800 shekels, but no credit has appeared. For our second booking, check-in was confirmed for 3:00 p.m. on June 20. Upon arrival, we were told we could not enter until 7:19 p.m. because the current guests were observing Shabbat. This had never been disclosed. We were sent to a fourth apartment to wait. After 7:19, we were told the unit was still being cleaned and would not be ready until about 10:30 p.m. We finally gained access at 10:30 p.m. at 3:30 the next day, another guest knocked and said he was checking in. Terrible.
