When Expedia's VRBO cancelled our booking for Oct1 property in Madrid on Sept 30th, we found ourselves scrambling to find a hotel close to the airport in Madrid. Hotels were ridiculously expensive for that evening but also very limited. Found this unique gem about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport. ...

Teníamos dos habitaciones reservadas y tras llamar por la mañana de que nuestra llegada sería pasadas las 22h, me confirman que no hay problema, al llegar a las 22:30h me dicen que por error no tienen habitaciones y que me van a preparar una que tenían cerradas, con muy malas condiciones de salubridad. ...
