Amazing Long Weekend at the Owl's Nest
We will definitely be back!! what an amazing house with so many "playful" features! Foosball, Pool Table, Air Hockey, Corn Hole and even ping pong!!! Wow Kitchen was well stocked with pans and pots, plates, bowls and silverware We did have a water issue and a stove issue, but the management dealt with it RIGHT AWAY!!

Should have been 5 stars but…..
Great property. Very quiet. We loved it. We had 14 people there for my wife’s birthday. We found the place on VRBO but Avant Stay is who you deal with. They were great. The maintenance guy they sent was great and the guy who serviced the pool was even better. Worked early and late several days to fix the pool. The home has quite a bit of deferred maintenance. We left them a very long list. If not for that the place would have received 5 stars. Lights not working. A freezer that leaks water on the floor when going through the defrost cycle, ice maker not working. Some dripping faucets, pool heaters not working, ants entering the home, loose legs on some furniture, no light in one of the refrigerators, under cabinet lights in kitchen either out or flickering, and many , many more. All that aside I would stay there again. The sheets in master bedroom are the softest I’ve slept on. They allow a very large amount of towels which was greatly appreciated. Plenty of dishes except for bowls. Cookie sheets would have been nice. Avant Stay did a great job advising us in advance that the pool heat we ordered was not going to be available right away. They gave us some credit, not enough but I’ll work that out with them. The place is absolutely as advertised. Read the fine print. The home is worth the price but it does need some repairs.

Family reunion spot
This property was honestly perfect for our family reunion. It had plenty of bed options/combos and massive living and rec space for everybody to spread out and find activities. The pool and water slide were heaven for the kids! There were, however, a few maintenance issues that were a problem. The spa heat (hot tub) request was not processed prior to our arrival, and the controls for the water slide function were also not working when we arrived. It took lots of back and forth communication with the property managers and pool tech person until it was properly addressed the next morning. Thankfully we were not charged for the first day. Even though it was a headache to figure out, once the pool tech came in person to fix everything, it worked great. Another issue was the vent in the library room. It was on constantly — even when we turned off all of the AC control areas. We tried many different times but no matter what, cold air blew on the head of the bed underneath the vent the entire time. A last minor complaint was a couple loose doorknobs and handles; I think one may have just fallen off… Besides these minor inconveniences though, our stay was lovely and the property was a wonderful place for multiple generations to gather.

Great stay for a reunion
A few things weren't working, the oven, heat in Casita, but we were told just before checking in. Over all, it was an amazing stay. We loved it and plan to return next year. WE left part of our coffee pot and are hoping to be able to pick it up!

Family Vacation
House is as advertised! We were happily surprised with the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. The views and outdoor space is stunning! There were a few things to fix for the time we were there but the communication with Avantstay was great! Definitely recommend this house for a family or friends vacation!!

Retreat
We needed a big place for 16 of us to relax and get to know each other. We pretty much stayed indoors throughout the day swimming and enjoying foosball and pool table. Had barbecue dinners twice and spent time watching a movie. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will come back!

Owl's Nest Stay
The home was absolutely perfect for the 5 families (17 people) that stayed. The pool was amazing and the kitchen was a chef's dream. The only issue we had was one of the air conditioners was not working properly for two of the guest rooms. I called Kim w/ AvantStay and a couple of hours later they had sent out a service technician and fixed the problem and the rooms were cooled to perfection. Couldn't have asked for a better house or service.

Beautiful home!
We had a wonderful stay at the Owl's Nest! A beautiful home that accommodated 12 of us very comfortably. The house was so nice, some people chose not to spend the day wine tasting but to stay back and hang out at the house! There were so many games and activities to do at the house!

AMAZING GETAWAY SPOT
We loved everything about this property. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 19- ten adults and nine kids. Most of the adults and all the kids spent most of the days in the pool and spa while some played board games, etc. Kitchen lavishly furnished with dishes, cooking utensils, two giant refrigerators, etc. The kids loved the lofts which they dubbed "the secret room". They all loved hanging out together there reading and drawing.

Extended family group for wedding
We had around 20 people staying here for a nearby wedding at Galway Downs. The house was incredible. From the views, to the pool, to the location (close to town but so quiet and secluded) we couldn't have asked for a better home. The house is so spacious, with lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed eating outside on the huge patio table. and coffees watching the hot air balloons bob over the valley. Wine in the evening...the views are so amazing. People were ALWAYS in the pool. We had a mechanical issue with a water pump malfunctioning, and what could have been disastrous (with everyone getting ready for the wedding) was remedied immediately by the incredible Temecula property manager Steve. He had a team working on the issue and delivered bottled water for the short interim the system was down. He got everything up and running in minutes! Avanstay is lucky to have this guy. Thanks Steve. Can't recommend this house enough. The wedding was perfect, and the Owl's Nest was the perfect base camp for us all to reconnect and celebrate.

Wonderful Family Vacay
A wonderful home that has the service of a 5 star resort. Each bedroom had its own bathroom except for one which made it very private for my family members. We loved the fire pit and pool with slide. We would love to rent this home every year because we created so many wonderful memories.

Stunning Custom Home for a Perfect Get Away
Our family was so impressed with this house! It is one of the best houses we have rented on VRBO! It was incredibly clean and the management company AvantStay takes that very seriously, particularly during these times, which we really appreciated and gave us so much peace of mind. The house is just beautiful and exactly as pictured, although the views are even more stunning in real life and the custom touches throughout the house were gorgeous! The pool and pool slide were huge hits with our kids (and us) and my husband loved the sauna and hot tub. Being able to watch the sunset, listen to horses, and look out over grapefruit trees and vineyards made it feel like a perfect get away even though we only live an hour away. I also had to ask AvantStay a few questions when we first checked in about the hot tub and they responded right away. For those looking to take a break from cooking too, food delivery from Grubhub and UberEats was really easy and fast! The kitchen is really well stocked with every pan and dish you could need and two oversize Viking refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, etc. I did read a review that there were no spices or oils, etc., so you do need to bring everything you need for cooking (which is probably more sanitary right now anyways). Overall, we loved this home and hope to return over the holidays if it is available!

Wonderful Retreat Location
My company had a beautiful staff retreat with families here. The property and home are nothing short of amazing. The only thing to be aware of is that an obnoxious and loud alarm goes off anytime one of the doors to the pool is opened. The property manager said this is California law so they can't turn them off. You can only access the pool by walking outside and around the house. Either way it didn't ruin our stay but it was stressful for a couple hours as we tried to get the alarms off.

Wonderful luxury vacation home!
We spent spring break 2019 at this amazing home. There was plenty of room for all 18 of us (ages 7-74). The layout of the home is very nice with most of the house looking out to the beautiful pool and patio. Plenty of sleeping space for 12 adults, plus bunks/lofts for 6 kids. The kitchen is huge with very nice appliances and tons of fridge space. We were surprised there were no pantry supplies at all - spices, etc - as we have had that in previous vacation homes. However, there were plentiful paper products and cleaning supplies (dish/laundry soap, etc) and an excellent supply of dishes and cookware, but knives needed some work. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and plenty of bathroom & pool towels. Lots of fun activities kept the teens busy - pool table, foosball, pingpong, bags, and board games. Wifi is excellent. The outdoor space is huge and comfortable with a nice grill area. We loved the pool slide and the water temperature was great. The view is amazing and the house is very private/remote, but only a short drive to the nearest grocery (Ralph's - where they were very friendly and helpful!) Costco & Target are not much further. Lots of nearby wineries - not our favorite CA wine, but we had great experiences at Vindemia, Palumbo and especially Lorimar. Fun adventure drive/hike to nearby Tenaja falls. We would highly recommend this vacation home for those looking for a relaxing luxury get-away!

Loved the house but the pool was amazing. Kids were in the pool all day long. Loved the fire pit at.
We had 21 of us in the House. Kitchen was wonderful. Enough beds for all. The only comment I have is the bunk room was off the master which meant kids using master bath. Wasn’t a problem for a couple with kids. But that needs to be stated. The House was amazing. The view incredible. Privacy plus. Would we rent this again? Absolutely. Loved our week there immensely.
