Room was clean and comfortable, the staff all very friendly and helpful. The menu choices for breakfast was very good and food came out hot, the continental option was also fresh. Spa facilities clean and adequate for what we wanted. Would go again.

We've just had a lovely weekend at this spa hotel and we couldn't fault the staff but for the money we'd expected a little more from the room. If you're booking the largest room available for a relaxing weekend, you want those creature comforts. The bathroom was lacklustre with a small bath / shower, the pillows were flat, there's no mini fridge, the carpets hadn't been hoovered properly, the TV was basic with limited options. Whilst these small details can be overlooked, they contribute to the loss of any wow factor.

Nice but overly priced

My partner and I have just returned from the Heywood Spa hotel in Tenby . It is a very smart tidy hotel with excellent facilities, we really enjoyed the spar which was lovely ! The food there is delicious I would definitely recommend the Asian dishes that they do in the evening in the restaurant. I did want to try the steak but at £39 I did feel a bit steep so I stuck with Asian which was delicious . The staff in the restaurant were excellent very friendly and couldn’t do more for you . The breakfast was included with our stay , and wonderful but I did think that the evening menu was a bit pricey . And in the actually well stocked bar , £8.25 for a pint of Peroni … a little much to be honest. Overall we enjoyed our stay , I can’t however say that it was value for money as I thought that it was expensive, overall . To put £15 on our final bill for 2 nights parking I thought a little insulting after the money we’d spend plus an £11 service charge in the restaurant did leave me with a bad taste in my mouth as I left . It was a shame that they did that as otherwise it was a wonderful stay . A wonderful hotel spoilt by overpricing in various departments so unfortunately we wouldn’t return on that basis … but if you are rich and money is not an issue then you will enjoy the Heywood Spa Tenby

Our stay was fantastic. The hotel was so well kept, clean and tidy, and we booked treatments which were great too. Food was fantastic and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room, and the water pressure from the shower was terrible
