「Charming pub in a very good location in Tenterden high street - excellent if visiting Chapeldown or the Kent and Sussex Railway. Our room was very spacious and the bed was super comfy. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. and a secure car park is included with the stay. Would highly recommend」

「Hotel with the wonderful old vibe with absolutely fabulous, friendly and helpful staff ever!!, Great pub, dinning area and decent breakfast available and dog friendly!. Walking distance to other nice places in town.」

「Our room was outstanding, the staff were amazing. Only issue we had was we couldn’t work out the egg machine at breakfast but again staff were super helpful」

「Staff lovely and v accommodating」

「Staff on check in were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Carried our suitcases upstairs which was much appreciated and provided iron and ironing board within minutes. Room 14 is a safety hazard! Tiny step in to the bathroom which is really easy to miss and I actually had a bad fall when staying. There's also a step down in to the bedroom part of the room, so be really careful if you stay in this room. 「Lovely room, be careful walking around freely as cars will park opposite and have a good look! There is a screen we put up which helped. Overall was very happy and was lovely and relaxing. Would definitely stay again」

「Staff, food & ambience」

「Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly. However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet. The hotel is in a nice, very rural location.」
