Tiger Cave Temple ,Kanjanaburi Dating from 1971, when a monk named Pasarigo used the hilltop caves for meditation, Wat Tham Sua ("Tiger Cave Temple") has the feel of a tourist attraction but its caves are now closed to the public.
Wat Tham Suea sits on top of a hill surrounded by rice fields overlooking the River Kwai. We rented a motorbike for the day and drive out here from our guesthouse. It was well worth the drive. There are beautiful paintings, a giant Buddha, and gorgeous views.

For the price of the stay, not only is it overpriced, but it has shortcomings including a pool that leaves you sticky and itching, inadequate certains for sleeping and slow service when you need to checkout!

Pleasant hotel. Nice staff. But facilities looking a bit tired. Potentially lovely pool but stupid design that would fail health and safety regulations in Europe. Lots of very sharp stone around edges. No easy disabled access to the pool and if you slipped getting in or out you could really damage ...
