"I had a great relaxing stay in Yala. The manager was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was decent size with separate shower. The breakfast was basic but tasty and lots of it. The pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling or on safari. "La Pentera is a new property which has a unique concept of a tree house. The property is quite far from the Udawalawe National Park - about 30 km or so. The directions are also unclear, even if you use googlemaps. The property is new and in great condition. However, there are things that could be better, especially the food. The bathroom has hot water though there is some water leakage. A great experience stay but could be better."

"Exceptional Stay with Breathtaking Views and World-Class Hospitality Heaven Breeze Hotel is truly a gem in Ella. Set at a higher elevation, the hotel offers spectacular mountain views that make the stay feel like a retreat in the clouds, while still being very close to the beautiful and lively town of Ella. Its location is also ideal for exploring nearby attractions, including Little Adam’s Peak and Ravana Ella. What made our stay especially memorable was the outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Sachini, who provided truly world-class guest service with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful breakfast service. The staff asked us the night before what we would prefer for breakfast, and everything was prepared fresh and served right on time. A beautiful location, stunning views, wonderful staff, and exceptional service—Heaven Breeze Hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Ella. We would happily stay here again!"

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t have time to try. Overall fully recommend."

"My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. My mum still can’t stop complimenting the food; my parents have travelled all around Sri Lanka and tried many different cuisines, so coming from them, that is actually really huge to hear! Next time I’m in Lanka, I already know where my first stop will be. 10/10 for such a great stay!"
