“We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. We would definitely stay again.”

“Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable.”

“Perfect location for Oxford and Thame with fabulous 400 bus service connecting both. Great meals at The Black Horse in Thame and Sunday lunch at The Kings Arms in Wheatley. Gadbury Cottage perfectly situated for both and visiting Waterperry Gardens and Althorpe House an hours drive away The cottage was clean, comfortable and met all our needs including a small private garden with loungers which we made good use of on a rest day whilst the weather was good. “This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely……
