“We really loved the chalet during our stay. It was spacious and well equipped. We also had a great view of the town and surrounding area from our balcony. Although it did appear not all properties on the resort had the same great view.
The staff at reception spoke excellent English and were always friendly & helpful.
A few things to note about the resort and area:
- The motorway flyover next to resort was not a problem as we initially feared. We could barely hear the traffic.

“This is a beautiful apartment located in the historic area on Ludwigstrasse. It has all the amenities you need and also has off street parking. The only negative was there were no instructions on how to open or close the garage door. (you need to pull the black strap that’s hanging inside the garage). Once the car is parked you can walk to many restaurants and shops.”

Wir hatten nicht gerade das beste Wetter konnten aber alle Unternehmungen die wir uns vorgenommen haben machen. Der Ort Walchensee ist sehr klein und ruhig (zumindest nicht in der Hauptsaison wie uns gesagt wurde)aber abends findet man immer eine nette Einkehrmöglichkeit. (Seestüberl sehr zu empfehlen) ein absolutes Highlight war die Höllenklamm und Herzogstand. Walchensee ist auf jedenfall ein Besuch……

"We stayed at hotel weisses kreus for 5 nights. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. In addition to the rich breakfast, the owner was friendly and the staff was great. Another thing worth mentioning is that the cleanliness of the bedding, cups and plates was rare in my 30 years of travel. It is an excellent hotel and worth recommending.
