The fire and ice of Iceland is spectacular....this is one of many sights.
Goðafoss ('Waterfall of the Gods'), in north Iceland. This is my very favorite waterfall! And it's especially breathtaking from this viewpoint. I visited Goðafoss 3 times on that trip and this photo is from my last visit. I'm so glad I made that 3rd trip there! I didn't have much time as I had to catch the bus but I really tried to take it all in :). It really was a magic moment! And one I'll never forget. It was cold and rainy yet I felt mesmerized by the waterfall's beauty and majesty.
