Things to do in Mount Brevitor

Find Miami Beach near the southern tip of Barbados. Like many other beaches in Barbados, it has multiple names. Some call it Enterprise Beach. If you’re staying nearby, be enterprising and take a barefoot morning run to enjoy the feel of the soft coral sand.

Dover Beach is a popular spot for active beachgoers on the southwest coast of Barbados. Rent a boogie board to enjoy the generally gentle surf or ride a Jet ski to cut through the waves.

Crane beach is a stretch of powdery sand formed by pink coral that was pulverized and washed up over time. Although the area is on the east side of the island, which is normally full of thundering waves, Crane Beach has towering cliffs on each end of the beach and a coral reef in the ocean that provide protection from powerful Atlantic Ocean waves.

You’ll find that some Barbados beaches are known by multiple names, but taxi drivers will generally recognize all choices. Ask for Accra or Rockley Beach to visit this very pleasant south coast beach where the water is crystal clear and the sand is soft, easy to walk on without worrying about sharp coral pieces.

Mullins Beach is one of the northernmost beaches on the west coast of Barbados. That means you’ll find clear blue water and generally calm seas. With its location far from the capital Bridgetown, Mullins can be less busy than other closer beaches.

For many cruise ship visitors to Barbados, Brighton Beach is their primary impression of the island. From the ship you’ll see the inviting beach calling you to relax and unwind; from the beach you’ll see the ship beckoning you to travel to other exotic locations. The beach is pleasant and the view is interesting, with a chance to watch all the ship traffic passing by.
