Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Bathing time..
A cool village situated in the vicinity of the newly established Pinnawala Open Air Zoo. It is still under construction. Therefore, not highly recommended to visit. Still there are few amazing sights to see around and there are quite a few of Leopards in the park.
