Hidden Piece of Heaven on Lake Limestone

Our little cabin has been a family jewel since 1983! Four generations have enjoyed the property over the years and now our grandchildren love it so much, they never want to leave! Since we've always had such wonderful family time here, we decided to share it with others when we aren't using it ourselves! We are 2 - 2 1/2 hours from Houston, Dallas, & Austin so we are a great place to meet in the middle for a lot of Texas families! This fabulous little cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 custom designed bunk beds (queen on bottom & twin on top) in each room which sleep a total of 12 people. It has 2 full baths with both a shower and a tub, a large open kitchen completely stocked with everything you need, a living area with 3 comfy couches plus a TV/Stereo/DVD Player/Movie Library, and a dining table that seats 8 with additional seating at the island and game table for a total of 14. While the inside is very cozy, we prefer spending the majority of our time on the large tree shaded outside deck overlooking the lake. Sunsets are majestic from this location and at night, the patio lights throughout the property add a mystical ambiance to the evening. If you prefer sitting by a fire, we've got a large fire pit and a steady woodpile waiting to host the day's fishing tales, ghost stories, or even our favorite, popcorn and s'mores! During the day, guests can enjoy easy access to the water, sunbathing, or kayaking in the calm waters of our cove. The property is lined with trees on both sides, so you will feel as though you are the only people who know about this secret paradise. Having this much private space is a rare find at the lake!!!! Lake Limestone is famous for its great fishing, and a lot of it can be found a few yards in front of the dock! Fish species include large mouth bass, striped bass, crappie, brim, and catfish. Whatever your interest, from quiet relaxation with a good book and a glass of wine, to spending the day filled with activities on the water, this property will fill the need! We even have a play area for the kids! There is nothing better in this world than spending time with family/friends while making memories that will last a lifetime!
