The property by itself is well maintained and is very vintage. I didnt really like the view from the room. It was a parking view and there were people hanging out there till late. So basically could not open the windows at all. All said, the room was clean and the staff was helpful and well trained. The breakfast was very good for a complimentary breakfast. Lots of refill and good quality yogurt and breads.

Friendly, helpful staff and the whole town had a very relaxed , safe feeling to it. Our fridge was stocked with beautiful food. We climbed Kosciusko and the food was perfect for the climb. Loved our stay here. Magical town.

This is our second time staying at The River Inn. It’s in a great location and is very reasonably priced for accommodation on mountain and including a basic breakfast. It also has secure bike storage which is fantastic! The room was clean. Overall you get what you pay for, it’s a little dated and noisy neighbours can be heard but for us the convenience and price outweighs all else. We’ll be back for sure.

It’s an older hotel, as it was summer there was plenty of hot water and room was a good size for 2 adults and a small child. It was a great location for skiing and hiking. Breakfast was basic but better than nothing. Room had a microwave, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities but no plates or cutlery for microwave use.

Accommodation good location and easy access to the lifts for MTB'ing. Would be good if better facility for storing bikes as the room was full when we arrived. Bring lock to chain your bike in the room. Missing fly screen on one of the windows which was required as we had to leave the windows open as the apartments get warm in summer and there is no aircon. Food from the onsite restaurant for dinner is average and would suggest eating elsewhere. This was the biggest disappointment. Included breakfast was good. Overall would stay here again, as the accommodation was clean, and in good location.
