"Very nice house, the lake was very nice. Only thing is when we check in we had to vacuum the floors. The floors look like it was not done. Way to many spiders and spiders web. On the wall, ceiling fan light and etc. Dont use the ice machine on the fridge!! Not sure when it was clean out. There was black mold in the ice."

"We loved our stay at this property. It was a great country setting and very comfortable. The furniture was like new and very comfortable. Many extras like coffee and tea. They provided soaps, shampoo, and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. The owner checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and wanted to know if we needed anything. This house is very convenient to all of the attractions and shopping in Shipshewana. You can't go wrong staying here. I would highly recommend this...

"This home is very spacious and private. I stayed here with my family. We had a total of 9 adults and 4 teens. There was a lot of room and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies for cooking. The home was clean upon arrival. The owner was great! He had great communication before our arrival and was great about checking on us during our stay. We would absolutely love to rent this home again if we were to return to Michigan."

"I have rented a different lakehouse every Labor Day weekend for many years and this is one of our faves. The decor will definitely appeal to antique lovers. The large deck is lovely. The lake is very quiet (no wake) and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat out on the water. Not great swimming off the dock (overgrown weeds and such), but we took the boat out to the middle of the lake to swim. We were able to fish right off the dock. Along with the I Luciano of other amenities like laundry soap, shower toiletries. There was a facet handle missing in the kitchen and the towel holder was loose in the upstairs bathroom. Great place to stay.
"We really liked the updates compared to other holiday inns we have stayed at. The beds and pillows are great, along with a smart tv and plenty of outlets and usb areas. Everything was working, which is hard to find at a hotel. The only thing i have seen done better at other hotels are the breakfast options. I like it when the breakfast offers gluten free options and boiled eggs, otherwise it has the usual stuff."
