"We booked the place just because its part of Sandman hotels. But we were very disappointed by everything. The staff has very limited knowledge. The rooms were dirty, the shower knob came off and the room has odor."

"Very peaceful and quiet property. Beautiful cabin on the lake with a hot tub on the deck. Comfortable bed and wood burning fireplace made our short stay memorable."

"The room was fine equipped with microwave fridge and coffee tea. The place was very clean the bedding comfortable.. however, at this moment in time, I would not recommend staying anywhere in blue River. There was literally nowhere to get food other than a burger bar.. two restaurants were not open for the season yet, one had closed due to roofing issues. I could not recommend saddle Mountain Lodge to any visitor at this time because of the foregoing."

"It is the off season so, the restaurant was not open. Fortunately I phoned so I knew where to find the office. Both faucets delivered only hot water. Fortunately there was an ice cube tray where I made cubes to make the water cold. Room quite small, however clean. The face clothes were new. They should be prewashed as the colour bled."
