"Good hotel, squarely between nob hill and the tenderloin. The keypad on one of our rooms was a bit finicky, which we didn't enjoy, but otherwise the rooms were clean and well maintained. Due to its location it's a bit loud at night, which wasn't an issue for my husband and I, but bothered my mom, who's less comfortable in cities. There was a security guard at night, and the hotel felt very safe to us. No parking, but easy walk to several BART stops and stations, which is inexpensive and efficient. You can walk to the wharf if you're in fair to middling shape, almost entirely downhill."
