Gelsomina Country House - A historic farmhouse nestled in the peaceful Umbrian countryside

Gelsomina Country House is a fully renovated historic monastery where guests have an entire apartment at their exclusive use, set in a peaceful setting surrounded by the Umbrian countryside. The entrance leads directly to the living area, which may include a sofa bed, and to the spacious kitchen-dining area, fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, and utensils. The house also features two fireplaces. The sleeping area consists of three bedrooms: the first can be configured with one or two single beds, while the other two each have a double bed. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. Sheets and towels are included and provided for guests. Rounding out the indoor spaces is an outdoor terrace with a large table, ideal for dining and spending time outdoors. Guests are free to enjoy the property’s spacious outdoor areas, which include a large garden, a soccer field, and a swimming pool. There are also two large gazebos, perfect for lunches and dinners with friends, as well as an outdoor barbecue available for guests’ use. The house is located about 10 minutes from Todi, in a central location relative to the main towns of Umbria and central Italy: Todi: about 10 minutes, Orvieto: about 40 minutes / 39 km, Spoleto: about 45 minutes / 44 km, Perugia: about 35–40 minutes / 43 km, Assisi: about 45–50 minutes / 49 km, Rome: about 1 hour and 30 minutes / 130 km, Florence: about 2 hours / 190 km. To reach the property, you’ll need to travel about 2 km along a dirt road, typical of rural areas. The road is passable by car, but we recommend driving carefully and at a reduced speed, especially if you’re not used to this type of road. Parking is available on the property.
