Oh how I wish we'd stayed longer! What a perfect little spot. It's a little walk to Shinjuku station but we didn't mind as it was very quiet! We were greeted warmly and shown everything in our room. Slept great. Thank you so much!

A much better option than being in a big city hotel or an expensive big chain hotel. The room was cosy and comfortable. Could have done with a tiny bit more bench space for preparing snacks and our bags had to go on the floor. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Not many TV options.

This was THE MOST welcoming place I have ever stayed. Even though it was about 8pm when we arrived, Akira diligently showed us around the property, ensuring that we knew exactly how to use all of the amenities and that we would have the best stay possible. It was very sweet and so kind. There are laundry facilities available to use which is always so helpful on big trips. The room was really spacious compared to most Japanese hotel accommodation. It is a decent walk from the main train station, but I highly recommend using the buses as well as trains, they were so well run and convenient

It was a pleasant stay. Room is clean and well-equipped. Akira-san prepared the accomodation well, and it was easy to communicate with him. He is kind and always ready to help when asked. The place is a bit off the main Shinjuku area, but accessible with bus 45 from Shinjuku (West Exit, 230 jpy). Loads of convenience store nearby, and other buses to Shinjuku or Shibuya (bus 64). Airport Bus Limousine stop best at Shinjuku Washington Hotel (9 min walk away). Park Hyatt Tokyo stop is closed for now.

Nice studio apartments near Shinjuku

This is a good place for a short stay with plenty of amenities. It is about 20 minutes walk from the (very noisy) Shinjuku station, but there is another station (Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome) within less than 10 minutes walk. Communication was very good, the host contacted us in advance to schedule the check-in, and was extremely friendly and helpful. The unit we stayed at was a studio apartment which was bigger than a typical economy hotel room in Tokyo. It also had a small refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, and a little stove as well as basic kitchenware, so it is ideal if you want to cook some meals during your stay. We opted to get some packaged meals from the small supermarket just a couple of minutes away, and their prices were amazingly low and quality was good. There a number of restaurants from walking distance, from cheap ramen place and Denny's all the way to some posh restaurants and cafes at the nearby Tokyo Opera complex. There is also a shared laundry facility which is free to use. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

We stayed there for 16 days. It was very pleasant, and the washing machines in the basement were a lifesaver, as we were there in August. Since I have allergies I had to cook my own food, the selection of kitchen utensils is very good. The owner is easy to reach, and he's happy to help with any questions. Thanks for the stay.

Our visit was wonderful. The hosts Yasuko and Akira paid great detail to ensure our stay was good. The rooms are brand new and very nice. The in house laundry is a great addition too.

We had a wonderful stay here, it's just one station from the busy Shinjuku station, which made it a wonderful place to travel from every day but at the same time it was very quit. The owner was very friendly and gave us some wonderful tips! The studio itself is very nice and well proportioned and has everything you need for your trip. We definitely recommend staying here!

A good place to live

the position is so good to travelers! It neat bus station for 涉41 and 渉45, these 2 Bus are directly to Shinjuku west station where you can transit to everywhere in Tokyo!! The room is very clean and have a little kitchen that you can cook by yourself.

The Studio Inn had all amenities needed for a 3 nights stay in Tokyo, Nespresso, fridge, microwave, mini kitchenette and washer and dryer to use at no charge. Located close to Shibuya area about 15 minutes by bus. Walking distance to Denny’s , 7 eleven and the Oprea court that also has restaurants and coffee shops.

I chose this particular place for comfort, location, away from busy street fronts but still easily accessible, and other features. You have a small kitchen with fridge, microwave and stovetop. Traveling with my daughter so needed some extra amenities including laundry facilities. Great place, great host Akira. Lovely organic tea place across the street. Walk to Tokyo Opera tower which has lovely stores and architecture. Overall, very happy with this first time to Japan stay!

10 days mom and daugter trip

I stayed at Studio Inn Nishi-Shinjuku for 10 days with my 16-y old daughter. The place was absolutely perfect for us! Nice and comfortable, possibility to cook some simple stuff, deep enough bath tub for a tall western girl to have a bath in. Very homey which was nice after walking around the city for hours! Supersoft blankets in the bed :) The location is very nice, walkable distance (approx. 20min) from Shinjuku station, but also buses from just around the corner dircetly to Shinjuku and Shibuya stations. Hatsudai station was at about 5 mins walk away and the Keio New Line stops there, conveniently connecting us to other lines all around Tokyo. Also you have a chance to use the washing machine and dryer downstairs in the laundry room, no need to pack for 10 days stay! Hotel contacted us in advance and during our stay via Hotels.com chat, to arrange everything. The room was as expected from Hotels.com description and photos. More spacious actually than what I expected! Really liked this place and will definitely stay again if ever coming back to Tokyo!
