A beautiful place to go slow

We spent a month in this home, allowing us to 'go slow' and really immerse ourselves in Tokyo with our two primary school-aged children. Best points:- the river is beautiful: lots of opportunities for carp spotting and scenic walks. - all basics are nearby (supermarket, convenience store etc...)- choice of two local train stations (Oji and Itabashi) to get into Tokyo city, plus a busThings to consider:- this isn't the 'hip' part of town, but is great for families. - trains are 15 min walk away, although there is a bus at the end of the street- Japanese-style beds are not for everyone, so be aware! - the stairs to the upper floor are quite steep, so if you are afraid of stairs, consider this... - there is no TV, which suited us, but may not be ideal for someOverall, we grew quite attached to this place and would highly recommend it! We also found communication was very efficient and effective when there was a small issue on our first day.
