This small house gives the exact Japanese vibe I was looking for with some modern amenities. The place is clean and has everything we need listed. The owner is very responsive with communication and helpful. The location is in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy tourist attractions but still only 7 - 10 mins walk away from a subway station. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook simple meal including searing Wagyu beef as breakfast!!!

Condensed version as forced to resubmit review. Property was changed from max 6 to 4 AFTER we booked. Beds supposedly for 2 were singles with 2 pillows. Toilet cannot be used by anyone much over 6' as two of us were. Condition questionable - broken interior door locks and holes/rips in doors. We could not stay, had to find hotels at the last minute.

I wanted the authentic Japanese experience and I got it with this property. Small apartment, small living with 2 adjustable sofa a simple tv and a small tables. As seen on tv guys. The beds are upstairs 2 beds 🛏️. In nakano area couple station away from Shinjuku Tokyo. There's a family mart and a grocery store at walking distance. As a barber shop close by, I shaved there. I would high recommend this place for an authentic Japanese experience. Plenty of towels at hands, u have access to a kitchen.. tricky to find the power button but I found it after a while. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would book again!
