We had a suite because our king room was given away by the time we arrived so we got upgraded for free. The check-in clerk named Elizabeth was exceptional, she was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We appreciated everything she did to make our stay very pleasant…

We were there for a convention that included a 50 dollar banquet the food was mediocre at best tje water had a funny taste to it and they only gave 1 roll and one pat of butter to each person no soda or ice tea on the table was told to walk outside of banquet room to get ice tea they were out of sugar, service wasn't very good expect more for 50 dollars a plate. Plus one of the ladies got sick in elevator for 40 minutes to am hour. I world also think at the price of the room or would include some sort of breakfast that cost 15 dollars more. I also had to pay 10 dollars a night to park inn there parking lot world not go there again for convention or personal stay. The area around the hotel was beautiful but disappointed work my stay

I asked the blonde lady at the front desk for a glass of wine while we waited, as our room was not ready until 445 PM. She brought out a glass bottle. I repeated, I want a glass of wine, not a bottle. Her response was this is wine and it is in glass. Clearly, she equated a glass of wine with a glass bottle of wine. That tells me a lot about management not training people. The bartender John, was great. He saw my frustration at the front desk and offered us drinks until the room was ready. He was great later, when he recommended the burgers, which were great, as was the wine and beer. The breakfast was fantastic. The bacon was apparently baked, which is my favorite.
