I received no communication prior to arriving onsite. I had to complete a lot of information via email before receiving the code to enter the building. Upon entering the unit, on one of the hottest days of the year, I found that the AC was barely functional and there was a giant machine in the bathroom, emanating so much heat that even the door handle was HOT. I contacted the Bay Suites immediately but phone reception was poor and the gentleman couldn't understand what I was saying. I was instructed to take a video and contact that via WhatsApp instead, which I did, but never received anything other than a "We'll look into it". There was only a duvet on the bed, no sheet, and it was definitely too hot for any type of duvet or comforter. We found out from the building front desk, not the owner of the condo, that there had been a very bad water leak in the bathroom the day before, which is why that machine was in there, and sure enough, above the toilet, a large piece of gypsum was missing, covered by a square of plastic bag and "secured" with tape, but it was sagging because it was full of water - luckily it did not give out in the 16 hours we were occupying the unit. It did not smell and there was otherwise no sign anything had happened the day before. The unit was otherwise good condition and very clean.
