This hotel is advertised as a pet friendly property. However, nearly all of the staff are terrified of dogs. We traveled with our very friendly, well behaved, always leashed labrador pup and the reactions we received from staff whenever they would spot our dog were enough to stress us out and make us feel bad for having a dog there. Staff would see our dog (or other dogs staying there) and jump behind their housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance carts to hide. I realize this dislike/fear/being unaccustomed to dogs is likely a cultural thing for most of the staff, but it made us feel bad and slightly unwelcome. If you are traveling with your dog, please consider another hotel. We've stayed in multiple hotels with this dog and have never experienced anything like this.
