Xmas break

Our stay was great. Location was excellent, walking distance from the beach (with cafe) and town. Perfect for us with our dog. Kids were able to walk into town to get a gelato easily. The kitchen & pantry were well equipped, and the new bbq got a workout. Beds were comfortable also.

Great location for a family getaway.

Stayed with my husband, teenage boys,, my sister, her partner and their dog. The house had everything you need for a relaxed get away, get together. The location was perfect- an easy walk to the beach and local shops along a pretty track and then the beach. The kitchen was well equiped and the deck was perfect for sitting down to share a meal. Plenty of bedding options and it was great to have a room the teenagers could retreat to. Would definitely recommend a stay Mel Townsville

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was even better than the pictures show. It had every amenity, kitchen utensil and holiday supplies you could imagine. We were comfortable the whole time. Back deck is so lush and gorgeous, perfect for having a relaxing evening watching the sun go down. We would return in a heart beat

Reviewer Comments: in general was ok smoke alarm malfunctioned first night so got of to bad start and then started picking on poor old cottage didn't stay 4 nights only because of smoke alarm left Saturday

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whilst you could possibly walk to the town centre from the property in spring and summer, it is too far away to do so in the cooler months. The outside of the property is quite run down and needs significant maintenance. The bedding and towels were clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was clean however the kitchen and bathroom is very dated. The furniture is old and worn. The property had a damp, stale smell when we walked in. There is insufficient external lighting to the property and we had to use our phones in order to see our way to the entrance of the home.
