Host is trying hard but the property is old and not very clean. Chicken poop everywhere near the entrance didn’t help. Bathroom needed cleaning. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the bedroom clean. Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend staying at this property. Its level of cleanliness and customer care were unsatisfactory. Its lovely location was compromised by the presence of a BMX dirt bike practice track right next door and early rising chickens (roosters) on the property.

This is a quiet location and easy to find. It has a working-farm vibe rather than a luxury-vacation vibe. French toast was delicious. Guest meals are prepared in a home kitchen without a dishwasher or secondary sink.

Wish there was an alarm clock on our room. Only negative. Hostess was amazing, friendly and accommodating when we asked to keep things in the refrigerator.

The rooms were clean and the owner/manager was pleasant. But the “reception” was really just the first floor of a home and was not kept in a way appropriate for the public. I would not recommend this to others.

Rooms were very dusty. Chair in Room had a big hole in it not usable. The place looks very run down. Dirty carpets. Bathroom. Toilet dirty. Bedding had stains. Kitchen filthy could t bring ourselves to eat the breakfast or ha e coffee there. The woman inn keeper looked. Felt sorry for her. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

We were very disappointed after reading glowing reviews on this site, we experienced quite the opposite. Upon pulling into the driveway, we ran over a hose that was left out. Upon arrival, the back porch was cluttered; the reception area was dirty and disorganized; appearing unprofessional. The room we were assigned, room 2, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. There was a chair in the room that had a seat that was ripped open, making it impossible to sit. The shower curtain in the shared bathroom eas dirty. The front porch was not inviting. It had an dirty ashtray with cigarette butts left in it. The outdoor seats were dirty. The area was not cared for. There was no breakfast offered. The host had coffee that smelled like it had been burned, but offered it to us anyway while also offering to make a new pot while we drank the old stuff. No pride or care displayed in this property. Cannot give it a good review.

On arrival, we walked into what appeared to be someone’s very messy home. Slight smell of cigarette smoke, coats everywhere and a kitchen full of unwashed dishes, food left on the counters, and a man sitting at the kitchen table with his shirt off. Walking up to the “office” entrance from parking, we walked past an outdoor table with a meat slicing machine wrapped in plastic. We nearly didn’t stay, but needed a bed and the room seemed the cleanest part of the house and good enough for a night. Sheets were clean and room was fine, even though decorated with a folding metal chair. There was, however, AC in the bedroom on a very hot night which we were grateful for. The common bathrooms were not clean including hairballs and areas behind the sink that clearly hadn’t been wiped for some time. Left at first light and didn’t stay for breakfast.
