A lovely step back in time with all modern amenities. So peaceful yet on your doorstep are bars and restaurants in the old town.

Hôtel bien situé en ville, parking appréciable à l'arrivée. Accueil sympathique et enregistrement rapide. Possibilité de quitter la chambre à 12h00 lors du départ. Grande chambre, lit confortable, pas de chaines en français à la TV. L'ensemble de l'hôtel est magnifique batiments historiques, grand parc avec piscine. Petit-dejeuner buffet à améliorer notamment par un jus d'orange frais et plus de fruits frais et mûrs. Le restaurant propose une bonne cuisine régionale.

Hôtel chargé d'histoire, à l'arrivée un parking privé à disposition. L'accueil à la réception est sympathique et l'enregistrement rapide. Pour les amoureux de culture et d'histoire un lieu attachant. Chambre spacieuse, lit confortable. On apprécie le calme du lieu. A proximité du centre ville. Le pdj buffet mériterait un petit plus avec des produits frais, fruits mûrs au choix et vrai jus d'orange. L'espace piscine agréable. Restaurant de qualité dans l'enceinte à la carte le soir. Une adresse agréable proche des centres d'intérêt.

Tres belle architecture datant du 14 eme siecle. Grande chambre avec un tres grand lit. vue magnifique sur les environs depuis la chambre .Personnel accueillant et serviable.Un inconvenient :les chambres sont au deuxieme etage et l'escalier est mortel pour les personnes qui ont mal aux genoux.

El pueblo precioso. El hotel palacio no tiene desperdicio. La ducha muy buena. La cama muy cómoda. Inconvenientes. Muebles pasados de moda. Las butacas necesitan rehabilitación, a pesar de lo bonitas que son. Vendría bien mosquiteras en las ventanas, ya que teníamos 5 moscas importunándonos aún no siendo temporada. Segundo piso sin ascensor y con maleta grande y sin personal que te ayude, aunque la recepcionista amablemente se ofreció. Pero no nos pareció trabajo para ella con que entre mi pareja y yo cargamos con los 25 kg de la maleta como pudimos.

Halte très agréable à Torroella

Séjour d’une nuit accueil très sympathique. L’hôtel est comme un musée, chambre pas très grande mais bien équipée. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Très bon accueil. Le lieu est simplement enchanteur, le charme d’une demeure ancienne avec le confort moderne. Pour une fois j’ai très bien dormi moi qui normalement ne dors bien que chez moi. Le restaurant délicieux. Tout le personnel est attentif et très professionnel : un séjour très réussi !

Me gustó la ambilidad del personal,la carta del restaurante y el edificio regio. No me gusto que no tuviera ascensor y que el aire se colaba por la ventana de la habitación.Tampoco entiendo por qué al coger una habitación individual con desayuno para 2 días tuve que pagar 4 desayunos en vez de 2. que me cobren una habitación individual igual que una doble,pase pero al elegir los desayunos deberían contemplar esa modalidad. total pagados dos desayunos que no se ha comido nadie.

VIVIR EN UN PALACIO

Conseguido el objetivo buscado, descansar y recuperar las energías, a pesar de la pandemia. Un palacio antiguo con solo 8 habitaciones en la planta superior, en buen estado de conservación, aunque quizás alguna mejora sería interesante. Aún así cumplió perfectamente con las expectativas. Habitaciones recias y bien aisladas, personal de limpieza y de recepción profesional y amables. Restaurante para cenar sin salir del hotel con un buen menú y relación calidad precio equilibrado. Intentaremos repetir.

Hotel agradable y precioso. Jardines magníficos, piscina y bar con terraza. Salas interiores con muebles antiguos. Vale la pena alojarse porqué es un lugar tranquilo. Desayuno muy bueno y restaurante con menús fantásticos.

Menos las habitaciones, muy buen hotel

La experiencia hubiera podido ser una muy buena ya que el sitio es precioso y muy tranquilo, el servicio también es bueno. No obstante nos sorprendieron un poco las habitaciones, ya que después de pasar por el parque y la entrada tan bonitos llegamos a nuestra habitación y era muy básica. El colchón no era de la calidad que se puede esperar de un 4 estrellas, y las dos noches que estuvimos por la noche y la mañana olía a cloaca en el baño y nuestra habitación. Una pena pero a parte de lo de la habitación el resto de la estancia ha sido muy bueno.

Disappointing for a hotel calling itself luxury

There were positives and negatives: Positives: Restored ancient palace - atmospheric Swimming pool though small was clean Attractive garden Own car park Large room Negatives: Staff disinterested , we didn’t feel welcome We felt insecure at night - public entrance from secluded area to rear of supermarket through open double doors to interior courtyard with badly lit access to staircase. Did not appear to be any form of security. Our room had a huge glass fronted wardrobe which was unstable despite obvious attempts to shore it up so we only used it to access the safe. We were glad we had only booked one night!

A reason to go to Torella,15 min to the beach

This hotel was exactly the place I wanted to stay while traveling in Europe. It's a fully walled 14th century Royal palace, each room is different, to sit on the breakfast room or deck alone is worth the charge for breakfast. The grounds and actual building are fantastic. The hotel restaurant is very good and I ate there both nights of my stay, try the cod.

Luxe building, OK rooms

The building itself and public spaces of this hotel are amazing. It’s like being in a castle. The outside grounds are wonderful too - I can imagine how lovely it would be In the summer, hanging out in the “chill out” area by the pool having a drink. However, our room was not as nice - it was definitely not luxe. The overhead lamp had a cold white fluorescent bulb, the decoration was quite bare, there was only instant coffee and no cream or even powdered creamer, the paint was a bit sloppy, the bedspread and rug were quite cheap-looking. It had a nice old armoire and window blinds, though, and the mattress was OK. The breakfast was good. The desk personnel were helpful.
